One of the numerous features the ISN provides is the ability for you to give your clients and Real Estate agents the ability to schedule property inspections via your own website using the assets and information you have about your company in the ISN.
Easily add an online schedule to your website by either (A) linking customer so your online scheduler or (B) “framing” in your scheduler so it appears as if it is on your web site. If this information seems too technical we suggest handing this article over to your web master and asking them to add the scheduler to your web site.
Before we start you will want to determine the scheduling URL for your office. This scheduling URL tells you what the scheduling link is for each office in your ISN. (NOTE: each office in your ISN has its own scheduling URL so each office can have its own unique scheduling options). To locate this URL click on Administration and then on Manage Office; next click on the Online Scheduler tab. Turning on the scheduler will show you both the “insecure” and “secure” links for your online scheduler. Next, you need to determine what option you want to use for linking up your schedule.
There are advantages and disadvantages to both options (although; we suggest using the “framing” option or option B):
Option (A) Linking: This option allows you to simply forward your customers to your online scheduler via a web link. The advantage of this option is it has no reliance on your web site or your web server it simply hands the requests over to the ISN. The disadvantages of this option are (1) the client/agent/user is moved away from your web site and not realistically given a path back to view your website; (2) everyone can see the URL is not on your web site and is at inspectionsupport.net.
Option (B) Framing: This option allows you to “frame in” the content from the online scheduler to your own web site. The advantages of this option: the client/agent believes they are still on your own web site; the client/agent does not see the inspectionsupport.net domain – thus hiding the technology in the background.

Here is how to add each option to your web page (making sure you replace [YOUR_SCHEDULING_URL] with your scheduling URL on the ISN (did you know you can also get this same information on the ISN under the scheduling options?):
Option A – Linking: Add a regular link to your website using the <A> tag:
<a href="[YOUR_SCHEDULING_URL]" target="_blank" />Schedule an Inspection</a>
Option B – Framing: Add an iframe to your web page using the <iframe> tag:
<iframe src="[YOUR_SCHEDULING_URL]" height="600" width="750" frameborder="0" scrolling="no">Please upgrade your browser.... <a href="http://getfirefox.com">http://getfirefox.com</a></iframe>

Hi Chris, I am thinking of building an iPhone app for my Inspection Business and had a thought of adding the scheduler. What do you think? I know if i use Safari and browse to my site it works but not quite as well as we would want. Thoughts on how we could make this an awesome iPhone App addition?
