The Inspection Support Network™ Engineering Team is pleased to announce the release of version 4.1.0 of the ISN available immediately in your installation of the Inspection Support Network™.
This release of the ISN provides a lot of new features as well as covering issues some of our inspectors have noticed; including but not limited to:
- Menu Layout - we have re-arranged our menu solution to better support our administrative users
- Payment system - you can now use the ISN to track payments on inspections
- Charge Credit Cards - if you use Authorize.net you can begin taking payments online using the ISN
- Track your Mileage - you can now track your mileage using the ISN (learn more)
- Online Scheduling - issues were repaired regarding the opportunity to experience a double booking in the online scheduler; double booking issues have been removed
- Email Events - issues have been addressed in the email event system to fix items regarding the delivery of certain email events
Menu Layout
We have adjusted our menus to help our administrative users get to items faster in the ISN. If you have admin access to the ISN you will note a new menu item entitled Settings which contains all of the items you might adjust for you office. These items used to live in the “Administration” menu item and have been moved allowing the “Administration” menu to be reserved strictly for administration duties.
Payment System
The ISN now allows you to track payments on the ISN. You can now add Credit Card, Cash, Check, or Money Order payments. This allows you to track inspection payments at the currency level - this also allows the “Paid” flag on the inspections to be an automated flag that is set only when all of the monies have been collected for a particular inspection.
Charge Credit Cards
Do you use Authorize.net to process payments for your inspection company? Now you can quickly add your username and password into the ISN and run your transactions through the ISN. Forget about going to authorize.net to make those payments! Want to take credit cards but don’t know how? Track Your Mileage
The ISN now allows you to track the miles you travel between inspections. If your are looking for a great way to save money on your taxes in a painless fashion you now the ability to let the ISN track your miles for you. Because the ISN knows where you are for your inspections it can easily help calculate the miles between jobs. Want to add miles manually yourself? No problem, the ISN supports this!
