To our inspectors: now is the time to increase the memory (RAM) in your computer. Why you ask? The market conditions of memory have really pushed the street price of memory (RAM) down. Your computer uses memory to actively run programs. When your machine runs low on memory it uses the hard drive to store information instead of memory (it is Windows® way of creating “FAKE RAM”). This drastically reduces the speed of your computer. Most modern memory can access data in about 0.000 000 001 seconds (real quick). A modern hard drive accesses the same information in approximately 0.013 seconds. If you are running short on memory you will definitely be waiting on your computer’s hard drive (a lot).
