Does the ISN place my sent emails in my Sent Box?

FAQ, ISNNo Comments »

Question: Does the ISN place my sent emails in my Sent Box?
Answer: No, the ISN does not have direct access to your email sent box; thus, the ISN will not place any of the emails it sends in your email sent box. If you are interested in what emails the ISN is sending please check out the System Log by clicking on Administration and then on View System Log. Next, you can search by email address to see if a specific email has been sent out or not. If you have any questions please contact our support site at (800) 700-8112.

No More Version Numbers on the ISN

ISN1 Comment »

We have officially dropped version numbers from the ISN and switched to Build Numbers. Our engineering team felt build numbers are easier to communicate and work with. Many inspectors have asked us what the different numbers of the version meant. In order to reduce any confusion we are moving to build numbers for the ISN. Each time we revise the ISN we will increment the number and post information here on this blog outlining the updates. So bye-bye 4 dot something dot something and hello build 2248.

Email Templates and Containers

FAQ, ISN, ISN Help VideosNo Comments »

Question: What is the difference between an email template and a container?

Answer: An Email Container is the “letterhead” of your email marketing system through the Inspection Support Network™. You can have multiple containers if you choose.

An Email Template is the actual “text” sent via email through the Inspection Support Network™ to clients and agents. You can utilize the provided templates, edit them or even create your own.

Allowing the ISN to save your password

ISN3 Comments »

The ISN will now save your password on the computer you are currently on. This is great because you will never have to use your password again. This is also bad for the exact same reason. This means anyone using your computer can now access your ISN through your account without needing to know your password. Your password is saved on your computer for 30 days after your last login. Therefore as long as you login once every 30 days you will never need to use your password again to login to the ISN.

How do I download my clients?

FAQ, ISNNo Comments »

Question: How do I download my clients list to use in my email program?
Answer: When you click on Clients/Agents and then on Clients you will see a button above the “grid” which will allow you to quickly download all of your clients. Keep in mind you will need special privileges to do this. If you do not see the Download button you will need to get permission from your manager. (managers: you will need to add this privilege to their account by clicking on Administration and then on User Administration and edit their account. Next, add the “Upload/Download Client List” privilege to their account!)
